Fundraising for the Royal British Legion

Celebrating the Royal British Legion’s 90th birthday which kicks off in Hunstanton on 30th May at 10am. Compo, Nora Batty and friends will be visiting the town and completing a sponsored walk raising money for the Poppy appeal.

The event will start from outside Bishop’s Restaurant in the High Street. Should you see the team around the town please make a donation. The Legion cares for all the heroes and their families and has done so for the last 90 years.

As Secretary of the Lavender Hill Mob Theatre Company, I would like to take this opportunity to contribute towards the Hunstanton Newsletter. Normally, this job would be down to Sandra Hohol, our Publicity Lady, but this time I feel that it's only fitting that I write an acknowledgement.

 

On March 15th, Sandra received a 'The Borough Mayor's Civic Award for Voluntary Service in the Community' - something which the LHMTC felt was long overdue....
