JAN 11 Grand Opening Party
Established since 1979 Country Kitchens, formerly of Norfolk Street, has recently moved to Nelson House, Bergen Way, King’s Lynn and 8th December was the date of their Grand Opening Party. The Company not only has a new address but a new name too and is now called Town and Country (Kitchens, Bedrooms and Bathrooms) Ltd.
The large and fantastically designed showroom has a wide range of kitchens and bathrooms on display together with appliances, worktops, sinks, taps and a myriad of other items which allow the visitor to see exactly how their kitchen or bathroom could be transformed.
Owner Bob Edgley invited his guests to mingle with kitchen design experts, fitters, electricians and satisfied customers who were able to answer all sorts of questions and demonstrate how new innovations in the kitchen and bathroom world had been incorporated into the displays.
During the evening guests sampled food cooked on the showroom Aga and were entertained by the T-Tones, a sharp-suited, excellent close harmony acapella group who delivered songs with harmony and style with (more than a little) charm and a dash of cheek.
Bob said that feedback from the evening had all been very positive and he and his team are looking forward to welcoming new and existing customers to the new showroom in 2011.
Having more space means that wider ranges of furniture and appliances can be displayed and the main suppliers to Town and Country are RWK (German Kitchens), Prentice (English Kitchens), Siemens, Fisher Paykel, Neff and Aga for all kitchen appliances. Bathrooms are mainly Kaldewei, Simpsons and Bauhaus. Bedrooms are mainly Prentice and Goscote. Worktops are supplied in Granite, Silestone, Corian, Solid Wood or Laminate.
During the evening a raffle was held for Cancer Research UK and raised the magnificent sum of £250.
The showroom is open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm and from January 2nd on Sundays between 10am and 4pm. There is ample free parking and the telephone number is 01553 766578.
