Judges at the Anglia in Bloom awards ceremony on 15th September were very pleased with the improvements from last year and remarked particularly on the involvement of the business community in this year’s entry. Hunstanton was rewarded with a Gold Award and also scooped the Best Coastal Resort category for towns with up to 35,000 residents.

Old Hunstanton won a Silver Medal and Norfolk Lavender the award for Best Commercial Area.

Now, of course there is the anxious wait until the Britain in Bloom awards are revealed; so watch this space!
