There’s been a lot of changes recently at O.H.S.C. It’s under new management chaired by John Pesci, with a new Steward, Caroline. The bar area has been completely refurbished and there’s a lively calendar of events, so here are some dates to put in your diaries :-

March 5th  (Friday) Bingo. 7.00 for 7.30pm.

March 6th  (Saturday)  R.N.L.I. Race Night. 7.00pm.

March 12th  (Friday) St. Mary’s Church Quiz Night. 6.00pm.           Teams of six people £36.00 including refreshments.

March 20th (Saturday) Poker Night 7.30 for 8.00pm

March  27th (Saturday) Club Quiz Night with “Fish & Chips”       to start. Pre-order and pay for your food at the bar   by March 24th please.

April 2nd (Friday)  Bingo. 7.00 for 7.30pm.

April 3rd  (Saturday) Easter “Disco” with a best bonnet    competition. 6.00 to 8.00pm for Children (free)    then 8.00pm onwards for adults (£2.50 per head).   Everyone welcome. Don’t forget your bonnets !

April 17th  (Saturday) St. Mary’s Church Coffee      morning.9.00am – noon.

April 30th  (Friday) Bingo. 7.00 for 7.30.

Remember our hall is available for hire to hold your own function in. The charge is £30.00 per session for non-members and £20.00 for members. Association Group meeting are charged at £7.50 per hour. You can hire the hall with or without a fully licensed bar, and there is a small kitchen within the hall for your use.

There is no entry fee for joining Old Hunstanton Social Club. Yearly subscriptions are £10.00 for adults,( £5.00 concessions), £2.50 child membership age 14 to 18 years. All are welcome to join. Apart from holding the above events the Club has a full size snooker table which has been recently refurbished, a pool table, and facilities for darts, dominoes and cards. We also have a table skittles board. During the summer months there is a large back garden with bowls. What better place to sit in the evening sun with a relaxing drink.

Families are especially welcome. There is a large car park to the rear, so it’s completely safe for children and dogs.

We have a fully licensed bar with real ales, lagers, wines, spirits and non alcoholic beverages. This is open during Club hours which are 5.00pm to 11.00pm Weekdays, 11.00am to 11.00pm Saturdays and 12.00noon to 6.00pm Sundays, and on Wednesday evenings “Fish & Chips” are available from a van outside at 6.30pm.

We are a friendly Club and always looking for suggestions from people on other events to hold. If you are interested in our Club, please pop in and talk to us at any time. You can’t miss us, we are on the main road in Old Hunstanton next to the village shop and bus stop. We look forward to seeing you all soon.
