A Monthly Publication

PACT's Hunstanton Supporters Group has had a busy, and successful, summer fundraising for a new cattery for our feline friends.  

              We were lucky enough to be invited by Hunstanton's Rotary Club to take part in a fundraising weekend at The Norton Hill Light Railway owned by Mr & Mrs M Schumann.   The event was extremely enjoyable and successful and George Rockingham from the sanctuary was presented with a very impressive cheque for £2,000.   Over in King's Lynn The Gatton Waters Caravanners held many and various fundraising events over the summer and amazingly raised £3,565 which, has again, been donated to the cattery.  

Our third large donation came via the generosity of Norfolk Green, and their generous travellers who donated £504.09 in just one day.    Norfolk Green matched this amount and a cheque for £1,008.18 has recently been received at the sanctuary.  

Our heartfelt thanks to all these wonderful and caring people.

And, finally, something to look forward to after Christmas.   After the success of this year's Coffee Morning we are holding another, with Bring and Buy and Raffle, at The Golden Lion Hotel on Wednesday, 27th January, at 10.30.   So do come along and buy a coffee and get one free (kindly donated by The Golden Lion).   We are a very friendly bunch and will welcome old and new friends alike and look forward to seeing you there!
