 Last month I reported that our Shoe Box total looked as if it would be around 800 - much the same as 2008. I am delighted to announce that we loaded 1021 boxes into the lorry on November 23rd. They are destined for Kyrgyzstan (western border of China) and Serbia. The driver told us that most places in East Anglia had collected fewer boxes this year and we had bucked the trend.

  Again my thanks are due to everyone who has contributed boxes, donations or gifts, including a gentleman who gave us a large number of model cars, and the fellowship of Union Church who help with the checking and the supplying of lots of spares.

              Snap up some Christmas and New Year bargains. It is never too early to start shopping for next year.
