 The Friends of Hunstanton Infant School held their AGM on Monday 16^th November.

The Treasurer reported that there was a healthy balance of £745.80 - our biggest success of the year, once again, was the sponsored walk, raising £383.  Everyone agreed that it should continue to be an annual event as it really brought everyone together and was a great family occasion.

Some committee members resigned their posts; the committee would like to say a very BIG thank-you to them all for the support, time and help that they have given to the Friends.  New committee members were duly elected.

As always we welcome new members to join and share their views and ideas for the future.

Events organised 2008 / 2009 :

· Christmas & Easter Fayres

· A Christmas tree for the school hall

· Bag2School

· Recycling mobile phones

· Halloween and Summer discos

· AND our biggest success of the year ………. Sponsored walk.

Through these events we have helped to unite parents, school and the children together and raised money to supply all the ‘little extras’ that help to make Hunstanton Infant school special:

· Class presents from Father Christmas

· Individual presents from Father Christmas

· Pantomime performed by West Anglia College

· Buses for school trips

· Disco, drinks & snacks

· Ice lollies for sports day

· Leavers wallets

· Author, Julia Jarman, visit for Library opening

· Sunhats for all children

 The Committee would like to thank everyone that has supported them throughout the year, including local traders in Hunstanton and the surrounding area that have provided prizes for tombolas & raffles etc.
