It’s that time of year again, a few weeks ‘til Christmas, the nights are well and truly drawn in and the blustery winds are stripping the trees naked of their leaves once again, so what better way to spend your dark evenings at home wrapped up warm in front of the fire watching easy watching television and just chilling, but with everyone having such busy lives these day wouldn't it be nicer on a Wednesday especially to visit Chives in the High Street to sit, relax and enjoy the infamous Wednesday Winter Warmers or in Chives personally know as the WWW's!!  Every Wednesday throughout winter you can enjoy traditional food such as Cottage Pie, Steak Pie or Mince Beef Cobbler to name but a few, 2 courses for £9.95.  Also, at Chives the Pre-Christmas , Christmas and New Year Menus are ready, so if you are still undecided what to do this festive season, please pop in and pick one up to see whether we can tempt you!!

The Deli has now been revamped downstairs with all the gifts on display, pop in and take a look and get ideas for that perfect Christmas present, if there is nothing that takes your fancy then maybe a custom built hamper would be better to your tastes the options are endless, the Christmas windows are now in ready for the season, and the red wines are getting evermore tempting!  Yes Red Wine season has replaced the lovely Crisp Whites from the summer!

We still have our fish markets every Friday and Saturday which are ever popular and if there is anything special you require for Christmas, whether it be fish or that something special you wish to treat yourself too this time of year then please do not hesitate to ask us.
