Although Christmas is still quite a way away, we are making all our preparations. Our now famous Grotto is again going to be in the basement of the Town Hall on December 12th, 13th , 19th, 20th and Christmas Eve so please bring along you youngsters to be enthralled by the Grotto with the stream, and finish by meeting Santa himself, who will give them a present. This coincides with our Craft Fair in the Town Hall. There are still some stalls vacant so if you are interested in selling your merchandise please call Ian on 01485 533108 for further information, but anyway put a note in your diary to visit the Fair and by some extra unusual Christmas presents.
This year for the first time we are arranging a “Turkey & Tinsel” traditional three course lunch for all the senior citizens in our area. This is going to be held in the Green Lodge Restaurant during the week commencing Monday December 7. There will be a charge of only £3.00 per head with the Lions subsidising the balance. Remember this is open for all senior citizens living in Hunstanton and all the surrounding villages. Again please call 01485 533108 for further details. We hope this will be a jolly start to the festive season.
